As cat breeding season is upon us, Q Gardens is kicking off an effort to trap-neuter-and-return (TNR) members of the feral cat colony that frequent the Q Gardens lot. After a generous local advocate of TNR offered to lend us traps, we conducted our first trapping adventure on March 5th, 2014. We succeeded in trapping ‘Midget’ and also made great progress building trust with the primary feeder of this colony. If you would like to participate in any aspect of this effort or gain hands-on experience conducting TNR, please contact us at: qgardensinfo@gmail.com Detailed information about how to conduct TNR and how TNR actually benefits feral cat colonies can be found here: http://www.alleycat.org/page.aspx?pid=889
