On March 28th, 2015, after 2.5 years of organizing, we finally joined together with neighbors to clean up our already beloved lot. Thanks to all of the new and old Q Gardeners who participated–we look forward to many summer days working together!
Thanks also to Council Member Mathieu Eugene and Committeeman Jacob Gold for stopping by 🙂
We would never have made it this far without the ongoing help of 596acres, a critical resource for anyone in New York City with dreams of converting a vacant lot into a community green space. In addition, many thanks to Brooklyn Queen Land Trust for their willingness to accept Q Gardens as a BQLT affiliate garden!
